At Cranbourne East Secondary College, we are committed to being a school which encourages students to participate in physical activity across a number of different sports offered in the Casey South Division as part of School Sport Victoria Competition. It is our goal to see as many students as possible participating in Interschool sport were the primary focus is on individual player and team development rather than winning.

There are numerous opportunities for students to represent the College in a wide range of sports. Students are selected after attendance at trials/training and are required to be up to date with all classes and homework in order to participate. College representation is considered an honour, and behaviour and sportsmanship must reflect the high standards expected of our students. Students who win locally at Casey South Competition are offered the opportunity to attend Southern Metropolitan Regional Finals and VSSSA (State) finals.

In 2016 the school has introduced an Athletics and Cross Country Squad program to improve student performance in one or more athletic disciplines. The Squad program runs each Thursday after school from 3.30-5.00pm. Student Enrollment forms for this squad are available from both the front office and from Mr Horwill in his Sports Office.

Each year, Students at Cranbourne East Secondary College participate in three days of House Carnival Sport. House Carnival Sport Competitions occur in the Sports of Swimming, Cross-Country and Athletics. Students at Cranbourne East Secondary College are assigned to one of the following five Houses:
